SYNOPSIS : The film is an episode in the life of Hope, a young transplant to Los Angeles from the Midwest. We learn that after a steady stream of rejection and the sinking realization that her singing career is fast going nowhere, Hope finds solace in the arms of Will; a handsome, charming, bad boy. They fell madly in love and quickly become each other’s passion, getting lost in his drug life and each in other. Hope soon realizes that she is heading down a dark road. Pained, she eventually breaks it off with Will and gets a job as a waitress at an all-night diner as a first move towards pulling her life back together.
Heather Graham’s striking beauty and endearing quality have made her roles in such hits as BOOGIE NIGHTS (Roller Girl) and AUSTIN POWERS: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME (Felicity Shagwell) cinematic icons. Graham received rave reviews for her guest-starring stint on the critically acclaimed series SCRUBS; and she recently executive produced her first feature film CAKE, which she also stars in opposite Sandra Oh and Taye Diggs.
